In Kaivlya Paad, the last chapter of Patanjali Yoga Philosophy it has been told that although extra-ordinary powers may get produced in the body, sense organs and the intellect of a person through the influence or effect of the previous births, effect of chanting Mantras and the effect of carrying out penance, yet dignity of Kaivalya {our faultless and absolute identity} cannot be got through all these ones. For that ultimate dignity only the transformation caused by the meditation and the ensuing trans-meditational enterprise is confirmatory because the impressions of influence in the intellect of person formed with the old and recent deeds do remain do remain residue even after and acquiring extra-ordinary powers, which do not let him come out of the birth-death cycle. But the living being who has got his body and the intellect transformed with the endeavor of meditation, does get free from all impressions of his deeds and only such practicing one does become truly eligible to attain beatitude of Kaivalya, because the purpose of carrying out deeds used to have the enjoyment of worldly pleasures or to achieve the pleasure of heaven or paradise while leaving living stage. But a yogi does have no desire at all out of these two ones. After attaining such stage, his deeds which used to have been performed efficiently without caring for the outcome, do make him getting free from all types of bondage and indeed he gets established in his own eternal identity.
